Kite-Flying @ Marina Barrage

Went kite-flying with CG at Marina Barrage last Sunday (Apr 19). Jenny bought the kites and prepared bubbles for the children. Everyone contributed food and we had a lunch picnic after that. Not just the children, but I think the adults enjoyed ourselves too!

The weather was ideal for a family outing! Thank God we decided to meet at 945am because by the time we finished our lunch, the sun was HOT! HOT! HOT!

*Debbie "complaining" that it was hot

*Photo-proof that the adults enjoyed themselves too...:)

*Helping mummy to fly her kite

*Eric helping Debbie with her bottle of bubbles

*Denise with her GIANT bubble!

*Yummy! Lunch-time!

*We had a nice spot for the children too...:)

Before we left, 1 tour group arrived. Look at Debbie; probably the most attentive audience in the group... haha...

There is a gallery (but we didn't visit the place) and a waterplay area (which we didn't visit cos it was getting too hot).

For those that do not drive, there is a shuttle bus from Marina Bay station. Go early to "chop" the only shelter at the rooftop...:)

Denise has grown taller... Hope she can wear the dress I bought for her.

Yes, she has grown. In fact, I just found out that she is half a head taller than a boy 4 months her senior...
