Isaac's 6th Birthday Party

Isaac celebrated his 6th birthday at his new place on Sunday. It was a poolside BBQ. The children's pool was, as usual, too tempting! And Denise jumped in even though we didn't prepare her swimwear... Judging from the smiles, you knew that the children totally enjoyed themselves...:)

-Splash Pool that comes with waterplay and slides
-Jacuzzi for lazing around
-Main Pool for some serious swim, and a Furo Bath for just soaking in (have not tried that)

Denise's Artwork

I believe all proud parents', especially mothers, are like me... Ever since Denise started going to school at 3, I keep all her artwork. However, due to the recent shift, I was contemplating if I should throw away any...

Iris gave me a brilliant idea. Take a picture of all the artwork and only keep those "memorable" ones. Well, I gave Denise a mission... She took the pictures and then we agreed to discard them...:) More than 100 of them!!!

Kite-Flying @ Marina Barrage

Went kite-flying with CG at Marina Barrage last Sunday (Apr 19). Jenny bought the kites and prepared bubbles for the children. Everyone contributed food and we had a lunch picnic after that. Not just the children, but I think the adults enjoyed ourselves too!

The weather was ideal for a family outing! Thank God we decided to meet at 945am because by the time we finished our lunch, the sun was HOT! HOT! HOT!

Moved Out! Moved In!

Managed to clear/sell all the stuff at home... (Phew!)

Packed, unpacked, moved out and moved in... (Tiring!)

Moving Out Sale!

Dear All:

We are in the midst of shifting. As our new place is partially furnished, we want to sell some "still in good condition" and definitely usable stuff. Do help to pass the word around, price is negotiable but self-collect in the West...:)

Everybody's Talking About It!

One of the 2 biggest productions our drama team will put up every year; i.e. Easter and definitely Christmas! I didn't ask anyone about the script or discuss the story with anyone so that I can watch the Drama, firsthand, for myself!

And not forgeting the SME Fiesta held at Expo Hall 7. Hee hee... the shopping bug is biting me. Maybe I can grab some good deals there this weekend!

Singapore Flyer

Last Wednesday, we decided to bring the children to Singapore Flyer for dinner. It was already pitch dark but we decided to visit the Yakult Rainforest Discovery. There was a pond of koi. The children enjoyed feeding them...:)

Even though it was pitch dark, we managed to take some photos of the children posing with my BB (that explains the quality of the pictures...:)

Reader's Theatre

It's an annual tradition for Pat's Schoolhouse to stage a Reader's Theatre by the K2. We had a chance to chat with Denise's teachers and also to look at the display of their work. Then we proceed to the Music Room for their performances.

Denise was singing in the car. Daddy and Mummy were trying to make out what she was singing. We kept interrupting her... Finally she got impatient and said....

"Dad, I am not a radio!"

Thank You, Friends!

Thank you to all the friends that have comforted me... Yah, parents are not perfect and we do make mistakes...

- Someone told me "do not under-estimate our children. God made them to have great coping capacity"
- One daddy told me he spanked his 10 mths old once and immediately felt sorry because it was too hard for the baby
- Another mother slapped her child but OF COURSE, she regretted immediately. Today, the girl grew up fine too...

God knows that we are not perfect yet He gives us the awesome responsibilities to raise up the next generation! His grace is more than sufficient for us...:)
